Dr. Joydeep Paul, Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology from School of Life Science and Biotechnology, Adamas University, visited the 26th BSVER Annual International Conference held between February 28 and March 01, 2020 at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) campus, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. BSVER Annual International Conference is one of the oldest and major international conference held at Bangladesh which is organized by Bangladesh Society for Veterinary Education and Research. Dr. Paul was invited as plenary speaker in the conference under Alexander von Humboldt networking initiative. The conference hosted speakers from various countries including Malaysia, Japan, China, Australia and India. Dr. Paul delivered his plenary talk on “Exploiting immunomodulatory therapeutics: Targeting TLR pathway in Leishmania model” which was highly appreciated by the audience. Dr. Paul also evaluated poster session as a jury member in the conference. Around four hundred students from different parts of Bangladesh presented their papers and talks on relevant research topics. This visit opens up new possibilities of international scientific collaborations with Adamas University.
