Dr. Sanmitra Ghosh has joined Adamas University as an Assistant Professor of Microbiology at School of Life Science and Biotechnology in August, 2019. She has more than four years of teaching experience. Dr. Ghosh graduated with microbiology Honours from Dinabandhu Andrews College under University of Calcutta. She completed her post-graduation in Microbiology from Lady Brabourne College under University of Calcutta. She secured third position in M.Sc (Microbiology) examination 2008.
She qualified in GATE examination 2009 and started her Ph.D work in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Calcutta. She initially worked in CSIR-sponsored project from 2009 to 2012. Then she received the University Research Fellowship from University Grant Commission (UGC-URF) in Department of Biochemistry, University of Calcutta in 2013. Dr. Ghosh completed her PhD in 2017. She has participated in many National and International Seminars presenting her research works and was awarded for her presentations.
Prior to joining Adamas University, Dr. Ghosh was associated with Dinabandhu Andrews College (Department of Microbiology) from 2008-2009 and Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology from 2016-2019 as a visiting faculty.
