I, Dr. Joydeep Paul joined Adamas University as an assistant professor at School of Biotechnology in December, 2018. I have eight years of research experience. I completed my PhD from the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology and Jadavpur University in 2015 with CSIR-NET doctoral Fellowship in Life Science. During my PhD, I deciphered the role of β- (1-4)- Galactose terminal glycans in enhancement of immune response and protection against experimental visceral Leishmaniasis.I did my 1st post doctoral research from Baylor Institute for immunology Research from 2016-2017 in finding the role of Il-17 signaling pathway in chronic inflammation . I have been awarded prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Post Doctoral fellowship in 2017. I worked at the technical university of Munich, one of the best premier research institutes in the world as an Humboldt post doctoral fellow from 2017-2018 in chronic infection model. I have 11 publications to my credit and my research work has been published in different international peer reviewed journals. I completed my graduation in Zoology (Hons.) and post graduation in genetics from University of Calcutta.

My research interest is in finding the role TLR pathway in regulating immune response in chronic infection. Also I want to find novel prophylactic and immunotherapeutic strategies against various infection and cancer model.
